Meet Amanda Fitt, MS, CNS*: founder of Purely Nourished LLC, Clinical Nutritionist, rock climber, cyclist, and lover of the outdoors. Based out of beautiful Central Oregon, Amanda helps outdoor athletes & active people overcome digestive issues & hormone imbalances, as well as improve their performance in sport. Trained in Functional Medicine, Amanda's root-cause approach to health blends evidence based research, holistic nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and practical techniques to make improving your health feel accessible. She will empower you with an arsenal of tools to make sustainable, lasting changes to your health, overcome limiting symptoms, and feel your absolute best for years to come.

Who I work with
The athletes who I work with are savvy, driven, and tired of not getting the support they deserve from their conventional providers. They are sick of being offered birth control and Pepcid as only solutions for their hormonal and digestive concerns, and want to explore other avenues for overcoming their symptoms once and for all. They want to be given ample time and respect during visits, feel heard, and actually leave with all of their questions being addressed. They are tired of band-aiding their issues, and want to actually get to the underlying cause of what’s driving their symptoms in the first place.
“But…I’m not an athlete”
This is something I hear more often than not. We tend to undervalue ourselves and our abilities. Just because you aren’t on a team, or performing at an “elite” level, doesn’t mean you have to write yourself off as being an athlete. In fact, not labeling yourself as an athlete actually holds you back from reaching your true potential! If you are engaging in your activity or spork weekly, train for your activity, care about improving, and LOVE the thing you do- you are absolutely an athlete in my book. Supporting your body nutritionally is essential for you to perform well now, feel better, and able to participate in your activity for years to come.
